All limited companies in Hong Kong are required to have their accounts audited annually.  They should be prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Ordinance and the accounting standards issued by The Hong Kong Society of Accountants.  The Hong Kong Tax Authority only accepts tax returns accompanied by auditor’s reports.
