Double Jacket Fire Hose
It’s NR/EPDM/SBR/PVC etc lined and double jacket. Jacket constructions include a second closely woven jacket for extra durability, safety factor and higher service pressure. It is more aging and ozone resistant.
The jacket is even and firm woven and free from visible defects, thread knots, lumps and irregularities of twist.
The warp is consist of high strength polyester staple yarns. The filler is high strength, low elongation filament polyester. Jacket is plain or twill woven.

CONSTRUCTION

COLOR
The standard color for Single Jacket Fire Hose is white. Other colors are available.
Abrasion resistant coatings are red, yellow, orange, blue, green and tan. Color will be uniform throughout the length of each hose. Cost for color coating is additional.
Forestry Fire Hose
It is a lightweight single jacket 100% spun polyester hose lined with TPU elastomer, heat, and flame resistance while virtually eliminating water pick-up. It is protected from mildew and no drying is required.
Its tightly woven cover is specially treated for enhanced durability, reduced friction when dragging, and resistance to ozone, weathering, mildew, aging, and regular abrasion. Its PU tube provides much better resistance to punctures, mildew, petroleum, solvents, and aging as compared to conventional rubber fire hoses and it is only a fraction of the weight and is much more compact.
A stripe of a contrasting color running the full length of the hose can be woven into the jacket. This meets NFPA recommendations for pump panel identification.

APPLICATION
Forestry fire fighting, standby forestry fire protection.
Due to its light duty characteristics, we do NOT recommend this hose be used for washdown or in construction, rental, plant, or mill service.
