Hangzhou Jingcheng Tea Co. Ltd, invested and established in 1999, deals mainly with the production and exportation of Chinese green tea, Jasmine tea, Oolong tea, Genmaicha, Hojicha, tea bags, and famous Chinese teas. At present our products are mainly exported to Japan, Korea, European countries, and USA, with a total annual export of up to 1000 tons and an annual foreign exchange income of over 100 million USD. The company began to manufacture Sencha (steamed tea) in 2000. Now it has set up three workshops located in Yuyao, Shengzhou and Jiande respectively. All the tea producing lines of our company are introduced from Japan, which guarantees the company?ˉs manufacturing capacity and its product quality assurance. To enter EU market as a competitive supplier of products and meet the consumers?ˉ demand of health food, in 2001 the company began to develop organic teas and has acquired the certificate qualified by both the German BCS authenticator and the Organic Tea Center of China located in the Tea Research Institute, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It can be expected that all these efforts we make will bring the company to its further development. At present, we own three workshops. Yuyao Workshop: In Yuyao Workshop, we introduced one advanced Sencha (steamed tea) producing line from Japan with an annual production of 200 tons and built a thermostatic cold storage of 550 cubic meters. This workshop owns a 100 hectare tea plantation located in the famous Siminsan mountainous area of Eastern Zhejiang, with a highest elevation of up to 750 meters and a unique favorable natural habitat for tea plant growth and tea quality where a lowest incidence of pests and disease occurs. Shengzhou Workshop: This workshop is equipped with an advanced Sencha (steamed tea) producing line we introduced from Japan with an annual production of 300 tons and a thermostatic cold storage of 150 cubic meters. Here we own a 150 hectare tea plantation where all the tea gardens are continuously and massively located and all the tea plants show a vigorous growth. These excellent conditions are favorable for modern tea garden management and guarantee a supply of good fresh leaves for quality Sencha (steamed tea) production.
