Carbon fiber robotic arms have a series of excellent properties, including high strength, long lifespan, light weight, low density, stable size, low thermal expansion coefficient, self-lubrication, and energy absorption and seismic resistance. It has high specific modulus, fatigue resistance, creep resistance, high temperature resistance, and wear resistance, which are even more advantageous than metal pipes.
Advantages of carbon fiber robotic arms:
1. Lightweight. The extraordinary lightweight characteristics of carbon fiber allow equipment to operate at lower power, saving energy.
2. Damping. Carbon fiber parts are made of epoxy resin matrix and carbon fiber cloth, which have the inherent vibration damping of high rigidity materials. Whenever it works, these characteristics quickly eliminate the vibration caused by motion, have high stability, improve production efficiency, and are also helpful in reducing load and extending lifespan.
3. Low coefficient of thermal expansion. Low expansion coefficient helps to improve the accuracy of the product.
4. Good protective effect. Carbon fiber is waterproof, resistant to high temperature, low temperature, and friction, and can also provide protection for the interior of the equipment.
5. High strength, light weight, easy to use, almost without increasing the overall weight of the structure.
6. The tensile strength, bending strength, and bending modulus are all very high, and they do not deform when bent within a certain range.
7. Good pressure resistance and toughness.
8. Good wear resistance, allowing for safe contact with other items without worrying about wear and deformation.
